Little Yellow Pig

Sometimes the best adventures come in the smallest packages… especially when they’re bright yellow, irresistibly curious, and determined to steal your heart.

Richard and Lucy Winrow are the founders and owners of Little Yellow Pig, a pair of popular independent coffee shops in Chester, UK.

They opened their first café in the Hoole area in 2014 and expanded on Godstall Lane with Pig In The City. The quirky name comes from a story Lucy’s dad used to tell when she was a child. As a result, the cafes are decorated with over 100 pig ornaments. They are known for serving specialist single-origin coffee and homemade cakes.

This wonderful film was shot for Victoria Furness at Cream Content as part of our collaboration with Cream and EDF on the award-winning Small Business campaign with Jade Hazell, celebrating the people, businesses and stories that make communities thrive.

Behind the camera, Carney James Turner wore just about every hat imaginable, directing, filming, editing and even taking to the skies as drone pilot to capture the film’s stunning aerial shots. Fleur Willcox-Jones production managed the project, expertly coordinated the drone pre-deployment logistics and also joined the edit, helping shape the final film. Supporting the team was Felix Piasecki as second camera, ensuring no memorable piggy moment escaped the lens.

We hope Little Yellow Pig brings a smile to your face as it did to ours.
