Carney and Fleur are both longstanding members of Buxton Mountain Rescue Team and help out with the team media from time to time.
Buxton Mountain Rescue Team has launched an exciting new series called ‘Co Lab,’ dedicated to testing and evaluating cutting-edge rescue equipment and kit within the rugged terrain of the Peak District National Park. This innovative initiative brings team members together with gear manufacturers to put specialized tools, clothing, and navigation tech through their paces in real-world, unpredictable conditions. By pushing this equipment to its limits across the park’s demanding peaks and peat bogs, the team ensures they remain at the forefront of lifesaving readiness while helping shape the future of wilderness search and rescue gear. This week we are playing with the Pulse EV and putting it to the test.
Filmed by Carney Turner and Henry Paisey and supported by Rick Mobbs and Tim Winter – Carney edited this film for the team.
