This is a mere glimpse of some of the incredible projects we’ve worked on. Broadcast for BBC, Channel 4, S4C, Paramount Plus, CBS and Branded Content with Cream and Cravens for some giant organisations. Our drone work elevates content beyond the horizon. We have been so lucky to work with some amazing teams across the world.
You may have seen some of these shots and wondered at the marvel of how they’re created. It’s no mean feat. You can’t just buy a drone. Fleur and Carney work with the RAF, Air Traffic Control, The Coastguard, local police teams, Port of London Authority, Air Ambulance, Prisons, airfields and international airports to ensure that we fly without conflicts. This enables us to safely and legally launch our drones to get the absolute best from the air.
Carney is a seasoned Director of Photography with more than a decade of experience flying drones. He is, essentially, a flying cameraman. Not only does he fly commercially, but in his spare time he also helps out Buxton Mountain Rescue Team as one of the team’s pilots on the M30T; a thermal drone used in search and rescue. Although not as creative, this does also allow him to study badgers at night.
We love editing here at the Crows Nest and we conjure up these oeuvres in our avid suite. Enjoy this smorgasbord as our gift to you.
Sound is also very important to us, so we made this soundtrack from an amalgamation of some of our favourite artists including the late great MC Conrad who recorded a special sting for us with DJ Furney many moons ago, which elevates this.
