Wild – A State Of Mind: Singapore

We made this documentary with Vijay Mudaliar and The Botanist Gin.

for part of their Wild – A State of Mind campaign.  Carney and Sharon flew out to Singapore to meet Vijay Mudaliar, explore the incredible urban jungle, rife with foragers, and taste the native flavours.  “Foraging has helped me understand my surroundings.” says Vijay.  He is passionate about working with Southeast Asian ingredients like mango, turmeric, cinnamon and tapioca and pairing them with something even more exotic – like foraged ants. When it comes to flavours, he stands by the adage ‘what grows together, goes together’.
