We loved collaborating with Sunwise Media on this AspireTV series, where Crows Nest Films proudly took the lead on the Stuttgart and London episodes.
In London, Harlem Globetrotters Torch and Moose set out on a journey to uncover the city’s best-kept secrets—one hidden door at a time. From the electric nightlife of London’s speakeasies to the unforgettable flavors of the legendary Thor’s Hammer roast, the adventure culminated with breathtaking views from the top of the O2 Arena, revealing a side of the city rarely seen.
Captain Carney served as Director of Photography, with Fleur as Production Manager, crafting dynamic pockets of adventure for Torch and Moose in, around, and on top of the O2. Taking the crew onto the roof and coordinating with five local authorities and agencies to capture aerial drone footage was a challenge we relished—and one that truly played to our strengths.
We had a great crew for this episode. Chris Smith was our principal camera, Joao Valle our sound recordist, Hugo Stickley our production assistant and production support from Jeremy Gildersleve. We also had the pleasure of working with Nana Duncan who provided support for Ri-Karlo Handy and the Sunwise Media team. Sunwise were a delight to work with and working alongside Kim Ogletree, Amber Handy-Pipestem and Derrick Barnes in the run up to this shoot was a treat.
