Braving The Shave
This was a pretty hair-raising experience.
Dr Vicki Taylor, a GP at Alderley Edge Medical Practice, Braved The Shave for Macmillan Cancer Support and The Little Princess Trust.
At Crows Nest Films we like to do projects we love so when our rather wonderful friend Vicki asked if we’d film her getting her head shaved, we lit the Anova Rotolight and got the clippers buzzing. Kerry Clarke shaved the good doctor’s head to raise funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support. As a GP, Vicki deals with Macmillan on a regular basis and finds them an invaluable resource in patient care. Those of us who have dealt with Macmillan know that their work is quite extraordinary and the care and support that they offer those fighting cancer, as well as their families, is exceptional.
The hair that was lobbed off was sent to The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
