That clothe the world and meet the sky.

Carney is stood amidst the weaving grain of the Wicklow Mountains documenting the provenance of Waterford Distillery's barley, from one of the 46 Irish Farms here on the Emerald Isle.  He's roaming the Kildare landscape with agronomist Grace O'Reilly, her palms tickling from the ear count.  It's an intimate business at Waterford Distillery and Carney is out in the thick of it with Lisa Ryan checking on the crops, pre-harvest, before they make their way to "The Cathedral Of Barley" where the provenance of each crop is documented, right down to the exact balance of fertilisers used, or lack thereof. 

At the state of the art distillery on the banks of the river Suir, farm labels over the spirit safe tell you exactly which farmer and barley origin is being distilled at that exact moment.
