We're gein it laldy in Inverness this week.
We've all said it before, the Assyrians and Doctor Emmett Brown had a lot in common and they were both nuts for renewable energies. Whether it's the flammable gases from cattle manure heating bath water 2000 BC or the Mr Fusion Home Energy Reactor, we're all looking for a sustainable future for our planet and future generations. We're absolutely proud as punch to be working with DoGoodFilms again and are looking into the future with Qila Energy.
Qila Energy is a British engineering company dedicated to developing renewable energy systems for farmers. Qila have kindly invited us up to Moray Estates in North East Scotland to see their incredible Anaerobic Digestion Plants. AD produces electricity through the decomposition of organic matter in silos, with the addition of microorganisms and in the absence of oxygen. The process by which these products are broken down creates methane, which is then burned to produce electricity. Qila also clean the biogas and feed it directly into the gas main. Everyone's a winner.
The surplus of these raw materials and the by-product of sanitised compost mean that anaerobic digestion renewable energy plants are a fantastic opportunity for farmers to maximise the potential of their land.
