Ireland's oldest city made history today.

Waterford Whiskey Wednesday saw The Facilitator at Waterford Distillery create the first spirit for 200 years and the premiere of our eponymous film on their website.  The creation of a new single malt has been enabled by a state of the art distillery in Munster.  The stainless steel leviathan was originally fabricated as a brewery, but has been converted by Mark Reynier and the team at Waterford into something quite unique in the whiskey world.  The modern plant is packed with the latest technology which gives the team an opportunity to work in an unprecedented way.  Today the brutal machine made the local barley sing as the first spirit flowed.  We invite you to pour yourself a dram, sit back, and anticipate the flavours that will be born out of such integrity and innovation.
