We're smashing stereotypes with the BBC.

We've had an absolutely extraordinary day with Team BRIT and CBBC's Blue Peter at the Top Gear test track, Dunsfold AerodromeRichie Driss enjoyed a masterclass with Aaron Morgan, J.J. Spencer and the team who are re-writing the rules of motorsports.  Team BRIT support, inspire and motivate people facing physical and psychological challenges by demonstrating what can be achieved through motorsport. With the team's innovation, disabled drivers can be as competitive as able-bodied drivers; hand-controlled technology removes the barriers of entry.

Fleur has been working with the CBBC team again to clear for take off and Carney scrambled the drones to capture the action as the crow flies, as well as taking it steady with the DJI RONIN rig.

The hand-adapted McLaren 570S GT4 can pull 0-60mph in under 3 seconds, boasts over 600 horse power and you can hear it from a very very long way away.  We got to work with the team at BRIT understanding what they're capable of on a track.  It was

the perfect track day with high, pretty, fluffy clouds, a light wind and glorious sunshine.  It was a bit wet this morning, meaning the test laps were a bit cheeky and slippy.  As it dried we had to change tyres back on to slicks.  Then the team could really unleash all the horses.

It's always a pleasure to work with the CBBC team and the added privelege of working with Team BRIT made for a truly extraordinary day.  An added twist was the reunion of Captain Carney with fellow Ravensbourne graduate Ian Nelson.
