Encore une fois.
Captain Carney has joined forces with the maestro, Chris Smith and White Events for a magical rollercoaster ride of dance music's most iconic tracks reinvented by the Urban Soul Orchestra who have worked with the very best in the industry, including Groove Armada, Nightmares on Wax, Robert Miles and Octave One. It's Classic Ibiza.
Armed with the Sony F55 Carney bounced at the crowd, and captured the magic as music filled the air and the crowd roared. Chris scrambled his Mavic 2 Pro to capture the soaring spirits, with a fistful of production support from Fleur.
The evening began with a ‘Chill-out DJ set’ performed by former Pacha Ibiza and Ministry of Sound resident, Jose Luis. Bringing a mix of old-school house with a Latin flavour, Jose Luis will transport you to one of the White Isle’s iconic chill-out bars at the idyllic outdoor setting of Burghley House.
The Urban Soul Orchestra and vocalists took to the stage with Goldierocks for the ‘Sundowner set,’ a feast of dance music’s rich play-list. Expect tracks from the likes of Orbital, Moby, Paul van Dyk and many more. Goldierocks’ ‘House DJ set’, was packed full of stone-cold dance anthems, the concert then reached a crescendo during the ‘Dance set,’ when the orchestra and vocalists return to the stage as night fell and the grounds of Burghley turned into an alfresco nightclub with accompanying lasers. Tracks from the likes of The Prodigy and The Shapeshifters, to Faithless and Underworld soared out across this stunning setting and our spirits were lifted.
Music is back. Live is back. Dancing is back.
Classic Ibiza is on its way to Blickling and Hatfield and there are still tickets available here.
Our crew are double-jabbed and all the staff were laterally flow tested ahead of the performance.
