Tune in to CBBC for Crows Nest's live feed.
We're live streaming an aerial view of Lindsey's ultimate challenge as she says goodbye to the team at Blue Peter.
Live from MediaCityUK, Carney will be streaming an aerial view of Lindsey as she takes on the mighty course, inspired by her most memorable moments on the show.
We're always excited to charter new territory and this is a first for us. Carney and Fleur have been working tirelessly with the BBC, MediaCity UK, Manchester Airport, City Airport, GMP AND the CBBC crew to ensure that we're giving you, the viewer, a birds eye view of the action at Salford Quays. We've been able to secure a safe spot from which to scramble our drones and capture the action as the crow flies. It was no mean feat with a risk assessment that included a live audience, zorb, assault course AND a hot air ballooon. And our friends at Blue Peter don't just want a drone shot from our DJI Mavic 2 Pro, they want a live drone shot.
Lindsey has been on the show for eight years but will be hanging up her badge today - Thursday 15th July. Lindsey landed the role of 36th Blue Peter presenter when the CBBC audience, voted for her on talent search programme 'Blue Peter: You Decide' back in 2013. Lindsey posted on her Instagram "Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You all changed my life that day and I owe every magnificent moment I've had on this show to you. I will be forever grateful and I hope I did you proud."
Blue Peter viewers have seen her tackling the Irish Sea in a giant inflatable zorb for Sport Relief, flying with the Red Arrows, piloting a hot-air balloon across the Arctic, climbing mountains with the Swiss Army, interviewing David Attenborough and drifting in racing cars.
All the crew at Crows Nest would like to wish Lindsey all the very best of luck on her next adventures. We will smash a bottle of champagne to celebrate the launch of the rest of your career.
