Wolfgang Tillmans

We're partnering up with ArtReview in Basel, Switzerland this week.

Captain Carney has taken flight again and is winging his way to the art-lovers' destination, Basel.  Along with Adam Cole and ArtReview, we'll be filming and live-streaming the Artist Talk with Wolfgang Tillmans at the Fondation Beyeler.

If you were in London over the summer you may have visited Wolfgang Tillmans' survey at the Tate Modern.  Working tirelessly since the early 1990s Tillmans converted from the pages of fashion magazines to the walls and floors of museum across the world.  He won the Turner Prize in 2000, becoming the first non-British artist do so.

Wolfgang Tillmans was also responsible for the striking and provocative Remain posters, which were freely distributed and printed ahead of the UK Referendum last year.  His EU Campaign became the defining images of anti-Brexit.  Now exhibiting at Fondation Beyeler in Switzerland, Tillmans will be interviewed as part of UBS Art's Artist Talks on September 7th.  The event is sold out, but don't get upset, it will be streamed, by us, live on Facebook.
